My sister/roommate and I have been living in our new house for a few months now and we are just getting things the way that we like them. We keep finding ourselves decorating and redecorating constantly but I think we finally have things where we want them! My sister and I both LOVE girly glam and our house reflects that. Since we both are homebodies, we wanted our house to be a place that we loved to spend time in and entertain in as well.

As we get more settled in, I will share some more of our progress! As of now the kitchen/dining area is the only place that is pretty much done. The only things that I plan on changing are the chairs and the light fixture. I have wanted ghost chairs forever but settled for these IKEA chairs that resembled them since they were close and much more affordable; however I found the exact ones I wanted on sale on Amazon for under $100 and just ordered them! I cannot wait for them to arrive. As far as the lighting goes, I am thinking about a classic chandelier; however, finding one that’s gold based and not silver based has been a little tricky. I am still searching for the perfect one.

I am crazy about pink, and if I lived alone- my whole house might possibly be pink. However, my sister keeps me grounded, and I think the mix of her love for anything gold and glam, and my love for pink and eclectic pieces has found a happy medium that we both have come to love. The pink rug in the kitchen was a fun way to add a pop of color without it being over-bearing.

I am so excited to share my home with y’all- as it is my very favorite place to be. I have listed everything that’s available, and anything that isn’t currently listed I have tried to find similar items to link for y’all. However, the animal print love-seat is another story! I found that at an estate sale about 10 years ago, and haven’t found anything even close to it. It’s one of those treasures that is just too unique to find anything similar.
