Q: How did you come up with your blog name?
A: When I was in Fashion School at FIDM my classmates and I had to describe each other’s style in one word and my class collectively agreed that “lovely” best described me. It was truly one of the best compliments I’ve ever received. When I started my blog, I knew it would have to be lovely!

Q: Why did you start your blog?
A: After leaving my corporate visual merchandising job and taking a job in graphic design, I felt like fashion was missing from my life. I wanted to have a reason to be creative with clothes again, so I started blogging mostly for myself, and it revived my love for fashion. I have since started sharing my posts and have truly enjoyed every minute of it.

Q: What do you love most about blogging?
A: I literally get to play dress-up and share it with those who love fashion as much as I do!

Q: What’s the most ridiculous but very cool fashion trend you’ve followed?
A: In college I had a “stylish mullet.” It was very trendy in 2006 but looking back I ask myself “what were you thinking?”

Q: What’s one goal you wish to accomplish this year?
A: To branch out and make new friends in this brand new city I find myself living in and loving.

Q: What is your favorite social media site?
A: Pinterest and Instagram tie for first.

Q: How would you describe your personal style?
A: Girly with a hint of Lilly Pulitzer prep.

Q: Spring or fall fashion?
A: SPRING!!!

Q: If you could choose one store to shop at for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: Nordstrom.

Q: What is one fear you would like to conquer?
A: Trying new things.
