When it comes to my makeup I am completely monogamous. I mean monogamous to a fault. I wouldn’t ever dream of cheating on my Chanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation or my Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter from theBalm. But when it comes to my mascara, I love to play the field! I fall in and out of love with different mascaras on an almost weekly basis. One week I’m obsessing over volume and the next I’m crazy about length. It just depends on my mood. Lately, there have been five different mascaras that I seem to rotate into my daily makeup routine, depending on the occasion. Below are my thoughts on the five!

They’re Real by Benefit – This is by far my favorite mascara. Even when I stray, I always come back to this mascara. I wear this one for a night out or for a more dramatic daytime look. It gives me insane volume and length. The best part about this one is the wand. It has a little ball shaped tip that allows me to perfectly apply my mascara in the corners and lower lashes with ease.

Babydoll by YSL – This is a daytime mascara that I have fallen in love with lately. This one is great for definition and length. I wear it when I’m not looking for too much drama, but still want to add length. I can wear this one all day with no smudging or flaking.

Le 2 de by Guerlain – This mascara gives me mad length and definition and I have never had it clump up on me. It doesn’t give me a ton of volume, but looks beautiful and really opens up my eyes. It has a baby wand on the other side of the tube, which makes applying on my lower lashes so much easier.

Le Volume by Chanel – I use this mascara with caution! This is without a doubt the best mascara for intense voluminous lashes I’ve ever used. But, with that being said, I found it can clump and look spidery if I don’t apply it carefully. I make sure I don’t have too much on mascara on the wand and slowly apply it with caution. Every time I wear this one, I get asked if I am wearing false lashes. It is without a doubt the most intense mascara I have ever used.

Roller Lash Curling & Lifting by Benefit – This mascara just came out a few months ago and I really like it. It gives me a lot of lift and curl it also adds a good amount of length. I need to give this one more time. But, so far, I really like it. I wear this one for a minimal or full daytime look.

‘Cils Booster XL’ Super Enhancing Mascara Base by Lancome – Ahhhh… back to monogamy! This is my go-to mascara primer that I never stray from.
